UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH — NEW CLOTHES PIN MINISTRY!

Stop by the UWF room soon and look for the new clothes pin ministry print.  Every month, the name/address of a homebound church member (or someone in need of prayer) will be clipped to a clothes pin.  You are encouraged to jot down that person’s name & address (paper/pen provided!) or take a photo with your phone and send them a card or note.  Our hopes are that the mailboxes of these special people will be flooded with love and good wishes.  And, if you know of someone who would benefit from this new ministry, give their name and address to any UWF member.

Xiaoya Gao (Sisi)

Originally from Urumqi, China, Xiaoya Gao (Sisi) is a pianist and music educator. Gao has performed in Asia, Europe, and the United States, including the Lawrence Chapel in Appleton, Wisconsin, the Blackbox Theatre in New York, and the Palais Corbelli in Vienna. Gao has an extensive music training background.

In 2019, she earned a Bachelor of Music in piano performance from Lawrence Conservatory of Music, Lawrence University, Appleton WI. In 2021, she received a Master’s degree in piano performance and an Advanced Certificate in Piano Pedagogy at New York University, Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Gao is currently working towards her Doctor of Musical Arts in piano performance and pedagogy at the University of South Carolina. She is also a dedicated accompanist and piano teacher in the Columbia area. During her free time, Gao likes to cook and take care of her plants.

Grace Services Online

If you are planning to worship with us in person on Sunday morning, our guidelines ask that you call to pre-register your attendance so that we can effectively seat everyone in the sanctuary while maintaining social distance. The deadline to pre-register is Friday at noon. Please call the church office to pre-register.

Worship and broadcasts will be live Sundays at 10:00am and On-Demand.
