Starting this Sunday, May 9 th we will be modifying our order of worship to allow the congregation to sing 3 of our 4 hymns each Sunday!
On May 23 rd we will worship outside for Pentecost Sunday. Pentecost is the Birthday of the church and we hope to celebrate the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in our midst by worshipping together outside. Make plans now to join us for this life-giving worship celebration at 10:00 am, with fellowship to follow.
After Pentecost Sunday we will undertake a worship experiment of having only one worship service at 10:00 am each week throughout the Summer. We hope to see you, online or in-person, in worship with us!
Grace United Methodist Church Receives 2020 Best of Columbia Award
Columbia Award Program Honors the Achievement
COLUMBIA January 8, 2020 — Grace United Methodist Church has been selected for the 2020 Best of Columbia Award in the Places of Worship category by the Columbia Award Program.
Each year, the Columbia Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Columbia area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2020 Columbia Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Columbia Award Program and data provided by third parties.

* Our children are divided into 3 age levels and we want you to think of who you know, that you can invite to Sunday school at 9:50am (earlier for one of Ralph’s hot cinnamon rolls) and would have fun expanding their Christian Education with Mrs. Susan, Mrs. Maxine, Mrs. Shannon, Mrs. Betsy, Mrs. Theresa, Mr. Ralph or Mr. Bernard.
