Rev. Meghan Lindsey Sweeney Cook is a United Methodist Church-ordained elder. She is an author (Herbert the Hippo series), curriculum writer (for Cokebury and Cultivatefaith), a grant recipient, and passionate supporter of missions, particularly Salkehatchie. Pastor Meg has dedicated 10 years of service to the South Carolina conference of the United Methodist Church. Prior to this, she worked for 15 years as a Christian educator within the United Methodist Church community.
Meg is happily married to her husband John, and together they have two young children. The family enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and putting together puzzles in their free time.
