The people of Grace welcome collaborative pianist Ziyue Gao. Hailing from Dailan, China, Ziyue (pronounced Zee-you-way) is a second-year doctoral student at the University of South Carolina. She is earning her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano pedagogy and wants eventually to “teach students, to inspire them and be inspired by them”.
Her hobbies include cooking and baking, and as a recent recipient of some of her cookies, this author can tell you she is extremely skilled! Her favorite color is purple and she says that she is very happy to be a part of Grace because “Grace has friendly, nice people and it’s a small Church, feels more like a family.”
